Description

Bridge House is an 18th-century building located in Wootton Bridge. It is two storeys high and features three windows. The structure is made of brick, which was once painted but is now covered with trellis work and wisteria. It has an eaves cornice and a slate roof. The first floor retains its original glazing bars, while the ground floor has modern casement windows. The doorway is notable for its engaged Doric columns, a pediment, and a semi-circular fanlight. At the north end of the ground floor, there is an additional room with a French window that has an ogee-shaped head and pointed Gothic panes, along with a small trellised wooden porch.
