Description
The School House, originally the Headmaster's house and now part of a school, was likely built around 1826 in the Gothic style. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble from the Isle of Wight, with ashlar quoins and a slate roof. The building has one and a half storeys and features three windows. There are three gabled dormers with kneelers, which contain 20th-century windows set in their original keyed surrounds. The ground floor windows are adorned with drip moulding. A central porch features a gable with kneelers, lancet windows, an obtusely pointed arch, and the Worsley Crest above. The right side elevation displays a gable end with kneelers and two double mullioned windows, both with drip moulds, although one of the windows is blocked.
