Description

The Dolphin Inn is an early 18th-century red brick building located at the corner of Sea Street and Quay Street. It features purple brick bands and a plinth, topped with an old hipped tile roof. The building has two storeys and five windows, which are alternately blocked. A plain rectangular stucco doorcase from the mid-19th century is present. The central bricks in the upper blocked windows are dated 1758, likely indicating alterations made at that time, suggesting the building may be older. The Dolphin Inn is part of a group that includes Nos 26 to 40 on the even side.
