Semi-detached houses, linked to No.16 (qv) by a short screen wall. c1825. Probably by Amon Wilds and CA Busby. Stucco, roof of slate. 2 storeys, 3 windows each. Steps up to flat-arched adjacent entrances flanked by pilasters supporting a shared, wreathed entablature; overlights, and panelled door of original design to No.18; flat-arched windows, those to first floor having sill bands, cornices on consoles, and sashes with margin lights, except for those inserted over screen walls to sides; boxed eaves; side stacks. INTERIOR: not inspected. Garden wall with gate piers to No.18, of stucco with panels of tarred cobbles.
