Description
24, 25, and 26 Norfolk Road are terraced houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of stucco with some evidence of scoring to mimic ashlar stonework, and their roofs are hidden behind parapets. The houses rise three storeys above a basement and feature a one-window range. The flat-arched entrance is flanked by pilasters and has an architrave and overlight. The ground floor showcases banded rustication that culminates in a moulded storey band. Nos. 24 and 25 have segmental bays that extend to three storeys, and No. 24 also has a segmental bay at the basement level. Each house has tripartite windows on every floor, with original design sashes, except for the first floor of No. 26. The first floor includes balconies, with No. 26 featuring what are likely original cast-iron railings adorned with anthemion motifs. The buildings have a cornice and blocking course, and there are chimney stacks on the party walls. Simple square corniced gate piers complete the exterior. The interior has not been inspected.
