Description

No. 42 Temple Street is a terraced house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stucco, with a roof that is obscured by a parapet. The building has three storeys and features a one-window range. To the right, there is a flat-arched entrance that has a later architrave. The house includes a three-storey segmental bay with tripartite windows and sashes that retain their original design on the ground floor. There is a bracketed balcony on the first floor, which is adorned with a cast-iron balustrade. A cornice is present, but it does not extend around the bay. The interior has not been inspected.
