Description

The garden wall at Hillside in Brighton is likely from the early 18th century. It is constructed from flint cobbles with brick dressings that form courses, piers, and coping along the length of the road. The eastern section features a spur that includes a cast-iron Victorian letter-box. The northern section has one brick course and a brick coping extending up to the gazebo, beyond which it is made entirely of flint.
