Description
Numbers 125 and 126 are a pair of terraced houses dating to around 1825. They are constructed of stucco, with the roof hidden behind a parapet. The houses are five stories high, including a basement, and have a three-window frontage. The fronts feature full-height, almost full-width, segmental bays. The ground floor is decorated with banded rustication, and contains a flat-arched entrance with a round-arched doorcase and fanlight. All windows are flat-arched. The first and second floor windows of Number 126 are set back under a shallow two-story arcade of round arches, separated by a storey band. Balconies with cast-iron railings are present on the first floor. There is another storey band between the third and fourth floors, topped by a cornice and blocking course. The interior was not inspected. Cast-iron railings with conical finials are fitted to the steps and area.
