Description

Number 33 is a terraced cottage located on the High Street in Rottingdean, dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. The building features a base of cobbles with flint above, and brick quoins and dressings that are now painted. The roof is tiled and the cottage has two storeys with two windows. The entrance is flat-arched and sits under a segmental arch. The ground-floor windows are also flat-arched under segmental arches, while the first-floor windows are flat-arched as well. All windows are fitted with horizontal sliding sashes. A brick dentil cornice runs along the top, and there is a central stack that is slightly set in front of the ridge. The interior has not been inspected.
