Description

The Tilt Yard Tower at Hampton Court is an early 16th-century structure, built by Henry VIII, designed for observing tournaments. It features red brick construction and stands three storeys tall. The tower is one window wide, with an additional bay set back to the right. It has a castellated parapet with stone dressing and an arched window on the ground floor, which has been rebuilt later. This tower is the only remaining structure of the original five towers that once existed.
