Description

Riverside is an early 18th-century house, altered subsequently, situated on the riverbank off Lower Teddington Road. It is two storeys high with a basement, constructed of brick and featuring an old pantile hipped roof. The house has four windows, with a projecting two-window central section. The central door, leading up steps, has a modillion cornice supported by large consoles. Several windows have been altered. At the rear, a brick and tiled building, likely originally a barn, runs parallel to the river with a gabled end facing the water. A modern wooden verandah with a balcony has been added to this building. Various other additions have been made to the property. The former outbuildings located between the main house and the road have been converted and extended to create three smaller houses.
