Description

Fountain Garden is a Grade I listed structure located in Hampton Court. The garden features a gate at the south-east corner that includes a trifoil design incorporating the monogram of William III. The wrought-iron double gate serves as a striking centerpiece, flanked by two lower gates and highlighted by openwork pilasters. An elaborate foliated overthrow, adorned with the monogram and a crown, enhances the gate's design. Additionally, there is a Victorian cast-iron footbridge and adjacent railings that are part of the ornamental ironwork originally designed to enclose Fountain Garden, much of which is now situated in the Privy Garden.
