Description

Fountain Garden, dating from around 1700 and 1865, features a pair of white stone urns, possibly made from Italian Breccia, adorned with rams' heads and festoons of grapes. These urns are mounted on Portland stone bases that are carved with wreathed heads. They are located on the lawn flanking the central avenue, next to Broad Walk. The bases are original from around 1700, while the urns currently in place were created in 1865 by Austin, Seeley and Company.
