Description
Hucks and Company Boatyard is an elaborate boathouse built in the late 19th century or early 20th century. It has two storeys with a third storey at the river end. The structure is timber-framed with varnished timber infill panels. There are balconies on the first and second floors, with the second floor featuring a fretted balustrade. The roof is tiled, with deep bracketed eaves and pierced barge and fascia boards. A spirelet is located on the two-storey end. The building is said to have been imported from Switzerland.
