Description

Ryde House, built around 1830, is a two-storey house with a basement, constructed of stucco and featuring a hipped slate roof with deep, bracketed eaves. The main block is three windows wide and is flanked by two single-storey wings that project forward. The central entrance has a portico supported by paired Ionic columns and an entablature. The ground floor windows are square-headed with moulded surrounds and cornices, while the upper windows are segmental and corniced. The wings have round-headed windows.
