Description

St Helena House is a circa 1820 house situated above the towing path on a balustraded terrace, forming part of Helena Terrace. The river front presents two storeys and four windows, while the front facing Friars Lane is three storeys high with a blind outer bay. The house is constructed of grey brick and has bracketed eaves. It features square-headed windows, with two segmental bays on the ground floor featuring pilaster decorations and iron balconies. The entrance on the Friars Lane front is framed by Greek Doric columns in antis. The interior remains unrecorded.
