Description

This is a mid-18th century house with iron gates and railings. The house is constructed of brown brick with red dressings and has a hipped tiled roof. A modillion eaves cornice extends to the adjoining Old Palace Place. The building is three storeys high with a three-window front. A Tuscan porch is set forward, and there are ornamental, square-headed windows with recessed sash windows containing glazing bars. Iron gates and railings are also present. The interior is potentially designed by Sir Robert Taylor, dating to around 1760.
