Description
No. 18 King Street is an early 18th-century house built of brown brick with red dressings. It has two storeys and dormers, featuring three windows across the front on King Street. The ground floor is stuccoed and has a central entrance flanked by scrolled consoles that support an entablature. To the right of the entrance is a two-light window. On the first floor, there are three square-headed flush-framed sash windows. The side facing The Green has one window. The house has a tiled pitched hipped roof, with a timber modillion eaves cornice on the side facing The Green, while the side facing King Street has a simple white band at the eaves. This building forms the end of a terrace that includes numbers 1 to 6 Old Palace Terrace.
