Description

This is a late 17th-century house, with an inscription on a rainwater head indicating 1687. The main part of the house, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, is constructed of brown brick with red dressings, and features a double-hipped roof parallel to the facade, topped by a modillion cornice. It is three storeys high and has five windows across the front. The main entrance has a broken entablature supported by carved consoles. To the right of the main building is a two-storey wing, set back and with two windows. Brick banding runs in line with the main facade. Further to the right are two two-storey set-backs. The ground floor of the main building is currently used as a garage. Notable are the fine wrought-iron gates and railings. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
