Description
Nos 45 to 55 Pert Cottages are a terrace of artisan cottages located in Sandringham Gardens, Barkingside, Ilford. Likely built in the early to mid 19th century, these cottages are designed in a simple Tudor style. They are two storeys high, with each cottage featuring two bays. The doors and windows have distinctive 4-centred arches. The cottages are constructed of brick, with a brick string course at the first floor level and a brick cornice. They have low pitched hipped slate roofs and tall angled chimneys, some of which have been truncated.
