Description

The chest tomb of Rebecca Bell, who died in 1777, is located in St Dunstan's Churchyard. It is made of Portland stone with a Pennant stone slab and granite kerbs, which once had iron railings. The sides of the tomb are simple and feature rosettes at the inset corners of the panels. The epitaph on the north side is now unreadable. This tomb is a refined example of Neoclassical design, characterized by its austere elegance.
