Description
Nos. 16 to 19, Heathfield Terrace form an attractive early 19th century terrace situated in a prominent position facing the Green. The buildings are stucco-faced and comprise a pair of houses. They have two storeys and a basement, with slate roofs that are hipped in pairs. Each pair features two windows and flat arches. A reeded cornice with decorative features (paterae) at the corners sits atop giant pilasters with plinth blocks, creating a unified design for each pair of houses. Steps with a railing lead to the front door and basement level. Number 16 has a later porch and bay window. Numbers 17 and 18 have a more modern porch. Number 19 has a door with an attractive, glazed fanlight.
