Description
26 The Butts is an early 18th-century building located in Brentford. It is similar in style to No 24 and is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings. The building has two storeys, a basement, and an attic, featuring six windows. The basement includes a plinth, and the windows have cambered relieving arches. The ground floor windows are topped with segmental arches that have projecting keystones. Below the first-floor windows, there are sunk rectangular window apron panels. The building is finished with a modillion eaves cornice and a machine tile hipped roof, which includes two segmental-headed dormers. The doorway features a six fielded panel door with a traceried fanlight, surrounded by narrow panels and topped with a bracketed hood. All the listed buildings in The Butts form a group.
