Description

Laurel Cottage, Primrose Cottage, and Tudor Cottage are adjoining buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries located on Wood Lane in Ruislip. The southern building dates from the 17th century and features a timber frame with plaster filling and an old brick chimney at one end. The gable reveals a queen post roof structure. An L-shaped addition from the 18th century is made of painted brick and has a dentil cornice. The cottages have old tiled roofs and sash windows with glazing bars. There are modern extensions to the southeast that are designed to be in keeping with the original buildings.
