Description

Hope Cottage is a house dating from around 1735, featuring two storeys and an attic, with three bays. The old tiled roof has swept eaves and end chimneys, along with two flat dormers. The front is stuccoed and includes a first-floor band. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, set in old moulded wood frames. The 19th-century four-panel door, which is now half glazed, has a similar frame. There is a modern pent tiled porch, and the centre window on the first floor has been blocked.
