Description

Nos 25 to 27 High Street is an impressive mid-19th century building that stands four storeys tall and features six windows. It is constructed of yellow brick with stucco dressings, including a cill band and entablature on the third floor, as well as a blocking course and a pediment above the slightly projecting two-bay centre. The sash windows, which have moulded stucco architraves and margin lights, are adorned with console bracketed cornices on the first floor, and the two central windows feature pediments. The ground floor has been altered to accommodate modern shops. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 24 to 28 High Street.
