Description
The De Burgh Arms Public House is a late 16th-century building located on Station Road in West Drayton. It features a main front range with two gabled rear wings that are joined at right angles. The front and much of the interior were remodeled around 1840. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has three windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof with three symmetrical gables, the center gable being lower than the others. The exterior is finished in stucco. The first floor and attic have 19th-century and modern casement windows, while the ground floor features early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars. The building is set high above the road, with a front retaining wall below an open loggia. This loggia is supported by wooden posts and features a cast iron balcony on the first floor. To the left, there is a one-storey early 19th-century extension that includes a cellar door.
