Description
Church House is a building dating from the 15th or 16th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It features painted plaster and an old tile roof, and is two storeys tall with an attic. The ground floor includes two canted bays with a door situated between them, along with a continuous frieze and cornice. On the first floor, there are two double-hung sash windows set in reveals, and a gable with a sash window at attic level. The west side return elevation, which faces the Church of St Edward, has an oversailing first floor supported by a moulded beam and two brackets. The door features a restored four-centre moulded arch, and there is a plaque between the first-floor windows displaying armorial cresting.
