WOOLWICH CHURCH STREET SE18 (north side) Royal Dockyard. Police building at east side of entrance gateway
II Mid C18 house. Two storeys, attic and sunk basement, three windows; with early C19 one window, set back right extension. High pitched roof, now felted, with three square dormers. Slated roof with one dormer to right extension. Multicoloured stock brick with cornice band and stone-coped parapet, first floor band and plinth. No bands in right extension. Gauged brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars in stucco-lined reveals. Ground floor windows round arched with small side lights, giving an appearance of wide Venetian windows. Central six-panel door, the upper four panels glazed, with cornice head and radial fanlight, in small, modern, half-glazed wood porch. In right extension a plain door with radial fanlight. One storey, six bay link to entrance gate has open Doric loggia. Doors alternate with recessed sash windows with glazing bars. Painted brick wall. Parapet above colonnade now rendered.
