Description
The Royal Dockyard features two large graving docks located at the northeast of the site, dating from the early 19th century. These parallel stepped docks are constructed of granite and were built on the site of earlier docks. Later modifications included the insertion of concrete sea-walls and the installation of mechanical sluices.
