Description
The former police station to the Royal Dockyard, built in 1843 as indicated on the hopper, is currently used as offices. It is constructed of stock brick in Flemish bond, with stone dressings and a slate roof featuring two paired chimneys that resemble bridges. The building has two storeys and five windows. Notable architectural features include stone coping, a moulded cornice, and a band between the floors. The façade displays five 12-pane sash windows with cambered heads and paler brick voussoirs, along with two Tuscan tooled stone porches.
