Description
The monument to the officers and men who fell in the New Zealand campaign of 1863-64 is located at the northeast part of the college grounds on Romney Road, SE10. Erected after 1864, it is a tall obelisk made of pinkish grey granite, standing on a square plinth that features cable mouldings at both the top and bottom. Inscriptions are carved on the sides of the monument. It is accessed by three high, wide steps leading up to the plinth.
