Description

The Entrance Building to Greenwich Footway Tunnel was built in 1902 by the London County Council to serve as the lift shaft and entrance to the pedestrian tunnel leading to the Isle of Dogs. This circular building is constructed of red brick and features a domed glass roof. The exterior showcases panelled brickwork and has a double entrance with moulded architraves, along with a plaque positioned above. Inside, the building has a plain tiled interior and a mahogany panelled lift.
