Description

This is a pair of houses built between 1840 and 1850, faced with stucco. They are two storeys and a basement in height, each with a single window in the main block. The roofs are low-pitched and slate-covered, with deep eaves. The first-floor windows are sash windows set in plain reveals, topped by cornices. The ground floor has wide, three-light sash windows that open onto trellis balconies. These balconies are supported by wooden posts resembling Ionic columns, and feature swept canopies that also shelter the three-light basement windows. Number 105 has a two-storey, two-window entrance wing on its left side. A half-glazed door is set within a trellis porch that mirrors the appearance of the window balconies; the door is adorned with a reeded cornice head and a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars. A garage door is located at the far left. Number 107 also has a similar trellis porch over a half-glazed door, which incorporates a pointed arch and glazed spandrels, along with pointed lower panels.
