Description
Sparrow Hall is a house that likely dates from the 18th century, with a front that was added in the early to mid-19th century. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows. It has a high-pitched roof covered with large slates and includes three modern flat dormers. The main structure is made of yellow brick with a decorative band, while the side walls are constructed of red brick. The recessed sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged near-flat brick arches. On the left side of the ground floor, there is a later 19th-century canted bay. To the right, there is a two-storey extension with one window, along with a one-storey entrance extension attached to it. The entrance door consists of six flat panels and is set within a stone doorcase that features fluted Doric pilasters and an entablature. There are also additional later 19th-century extensions at the back of the house.
