Description

The Forty Hall Entrance Gateway, built around 1800, features six tall piers made of rusticated stone, each with plinths and entablatures. Four of these piers are arranged across the center and support one double and two single panelled wooden gates. The central piers are adorned with garlands in their friezes. From these piers, quadrant walls made of white brick with stone coping extend to simpler outer piers.
