Description
The Enfield Vicarage is a two-storey building located on Silver Street. The structure appears to consist of two parts: the right section may date back to the 16th century and features a high-pitched roof, while the left section has the appearance of the 18th century, with a rendered upper part and late 19th-century brick on the ground floor. The house forms a square shape, with larger L-shaped 18th-century ranges to the south and west, a 16th-century piece at the northeast corner, and a late 19th-century addition to fill the space on the north side. The main west front has two storeys and an attic, with five windows; the central section is under a gable and slightly projects forward. The roof is high-pitched and tiled. The building is constructed of stock brick with red brick quoins and dressings, and features gauged flat brick arches over sash windows with glazing bars.
