Description
The north-east building of Enfield Grammar School is a late 16th-century red brick structure that stands two storeys high with an attic, featuring three windows. It has a high-pitched tiled roof adorned with three gabled dormers and moulded wood cornices at the gables. The attic windows are highlighted by brick mullions and hoodmoulds, while a brick string course runs along the first floor. The lower part of the ground floor has been rendered, and the ground floor contains a large room that measures 50 feet by 21 feet 10 inches. The building includes 19th-century wood mullioned windows set in stone surrounds. There is also a modern extension to the south. This building, along with Uvedale House and Uvedale Cottage, forms a group.
