Description
This coal tax post, located 100 yards east of the junction with Skidhill Lane, was built in 1861 and is made of cast iron. It has a square shape with chamfered sides and moulded caps, featuring a shield from the City's Arms. It is classified as No 185 type 2c in "The Coal Duties of the City of London and their Boundary Marks" published in 1972.
