Description

The barn at Hall Place is a 17th-century structure located on Bourne Road in Bexley. It is built of red brick and features exposed timbering at the entrance on the north side. The roof is tiled and supported by tie-beams, queen-posts, and collars. The entrance boasts a four-centred wooden doorway framed in timber, with the sides designed to appear quoined. Inside, the tie-beam, queen-struts, and collar are exposed above. The gable ends of the barn have seven blocked openings, and there are aisles in the outshots on the north side.
