Description
Number 33, known as Farm Cottage, and Number 35 are probably 16th century buildings, with a plaque indicating a date of 1550. They are small, four-bay, timber-framed hall houses. The first floor juts out on the west side at the north end, with plaster infilling in the framing and the north wall rendered. The buildings feature casement windows and a hipped tile roof with small gablets. Inside, there is smoke-blackened queen-strut roof framing and an inserted chimney stack with five flues. The eastern wing of Number 35, which is attached to Number 33 on the southwest, is an integral part of the original structure, while the rest of Number 35 is not of special interest.
