Description
27 Wood Street is a Grade II listed building that was altered in the early 18th century. The building is two windows wide and features a blank recessed panel above the central entrance. It has sash windows with margin panes. On the ground floor, there is one window to the right of the entrance and two windows to the left. The front is adorned with stucco pilasters and plain pediments above all the windows. The entrance includes a six-panelled door with a plain fanlight above it. The building has two storeys with an attic behind a tiled mansard roof, which is set behind a parapet. The exterior is roughcast, and there is a stair turret at the rear. Additionally, there is a later two-storey and one-storey addition on the right-hand side.
