Description

The Bow House is a late 17th century building that features early 19th century elements on its front elevation. It was repaired after sustaining bomb damage. The structure is rendered and has a pantiled roof, standing two storeys high with an attic. The ground floor includes a large bowed multi-paned shop window and a door, while the first floor has four 16-pane sash windows. A five coved wood modillion eaves cornice and flat-topped dormers are also present. Most of the features were replaced, except for the door and the shop surround. A garage has been inserted to the left of the building.
