Description
A pair of artisan cottages built in 1909 by Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin, situated on Asmuns Hill in the Hampstead Garden Suburb. The cottages are constructed with painted pebbledash walls and a plinth of brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern. They have a tile roof with swept eaves and exposed rafters. The design is a two-storey, two-window range, and is identical to that of Nos. 21 and 23 Asmuns Hill. Axial stacks are positioned on the returns to the front slope of the roof. The original design of doors and casements has been preserved. The Asmuns Hill group as a whole is considered a significant example of a complete streetscape designed by Parker and Unwin.
