Description

This house, located at 123 Willifield Way in Barnet, was designed by Barry Parker and Raymond Unwin in 1910 as part of the Hampstead Garden Suburb development. It is constructed of brick in Flemish bond, with a tile roof and tile dressings. The eaves are boxed and swept. The house is two storeys high and has an L-shaped plan, broadly resembling the design of number 113 Willifield Way. An entrance is positioned under a round arch to the rear wing, and a first-floor oriel window connects the two wings. It features segmental-arched windows with Georgian-style sash windows, all of original designs. A brick and weatherboarded garage with a tile roof is situated to the right. The house is part of a significant group that includes numbers 113-123, 127-133 (odd), and 126-148 (even) Willifield Way, as well as numbers 38, 40, and 42 Asmuns Hill.
