Description
Bigwood Court, Nos 1 to 24, comprises a group of almshouses built in the 1930s in the Hampstead Garden Suburb. The buildings are constructed of purple-brown brick with red brick dressings. They are two storeys high, with hipped roofs and sash windows including transoms. Each block has a projecting central feature containing a pedimented two-light dormer with supporting side lights. The doorways have architraves and bracketted hoods. The buildings are listed for their layout, grouping, and design.
