Description
The Crown Public House, dated 1900, is a grand "Jacobean" style building with two storeys and two dormered storeys beneath a mansard roof. To the right, there is a three-storey wing with four bays faced in sandstone. The main block features rusticated attached columns and pilasters that flank four entrance doors, while the wing has two additional doors. The first floor has a projection with 16 lights and single flanking two-light windows, along with two windows on the wing. The second floor displays decorative gables with mullioned windows topped by a blind archway. The wing's second floor is battlemented, featuring an ornamental crest, a pyramid roof, and a decorative finial.
