Description
The Library and Murray Scriptorium at Mill Hill School is a Grade II listed building designed by T E Collcutt, built around 1907. It is an almost symmetrical single-storey structure featuring projecting wings at either end of the main block. The main roof is high and tiled, adorned with two triangular dormers and an octagonal clock tower above the central projecting entrance porch. The clock tower is tile hung and includes a timber-framed clock house and dormer. The wings are topped with hipped tiled roofs and have timber framing. On the left gable, there is a panel inscribed with "THE MURRAY SCRIPTOR." A low brick wall connects the two wings, with Ionic balls flanking the entrance opening.
