Description

White Lodge is a two-section house dating to the early 18th century and late 18th century, situated on Hadley Green Road, Monken Hadley. The building is rendered with slate roofs, and both sections are two storeys high with three sash windows on each floor, featuring glazing bars. The right-hand section is from the early 18th century and includes a fine doorcase, which may have been relocated. This doorcase features a rusticated surround, a richly decorated frieze, and a pediment, altered by a modern hood. It contains a six-panel door. The left-hand section dates to the late 18th century. A unifying paint scheme has been applied to the entire building.
