Description

The Limes is a mid-18th century building located on the west side of High Road in Whetstone, N20. It is constructed of brown brick with red dressings and stands two storeys high, featuring four windows. The north half of the building projects one foot forward. All windows are fitted with some type of glazing bars, although the two halves of the building are of slightly different dates. The entrance porch is supported by a pair of fluted Greek Doric columns and includes a low fanlight with a pointed Gothic motif. The roof is tiled and consists of different builds behind a parapet.
